happy holidays

Our holiday plan is to get some rest. Joseph (III) and I are both recovering from colds and stomach flues. Joseph (II) has been working two jobs and getting very little sleep. I had this great idea that I would get everything that needed to be done done and then we could just coast and relax. Yesterday was out-of-the-house errand day. We got all of that accomplished. Today is house cleaning day.

This is how Joseph got the ball rolling. This is how he occupied himself while we were talking about Joe's night of work in the kitchen. He really does take advantage of any little moment these days.

I decided that this wasn't the right year for a tree. Joseph is just a little too into everything right now. I did put up some lights and a few subtle decorations. I am not an old humbug or anything. I am just not into BIG holidays, I guess. We are having ourselves a nice little holiday.

Here is our little nativity scene from India. It is the our first official family holiday decoration.

Here is our Christmas reisling and our clementines. Yep, a happy little holiday. I will update more after our down time. Happy Holidays everyone. Don't get that stomach flu!!!
